research and working within Hebridean communities.
Current work priorities:
* To continue to bring marine environmental education to remote island
and rural communities in South West Scotland via our marine education

development of interactive and multi-media marine interpretative
materials
* To conduct research into the distribution, habitat use and ecology
of
conservation priority cetacean species (e.g. harbour porpoises,
bottlenose dolphins, minke whales) and basking sharks
* To conduct baseline research on unstudied bottlenose dolphin
populations in West Scotland
* To research and help promote and ensure the sustainability and quality
of marine wildlife tourism in Scotland
* To further develop our marine wildlife sightings scheme for West
Scotland
* To promote the conservation of West Scotland's unique marine
environment through research, education and collaboration.
*To increase knowledge of basking shark biology and ecology through collaboration
