Aims: to co-ordinate and promote public awareness of Scotland's unique and threatened mountain, coastal and wilderness areas and to ensure their protection for the enjoyment of those taking recreation in them, both now, and in the future.

Current work priorities: Based in Aberdeen our membership is mainly drawn from mountaineering clubs in the North East. We seek to represent these recreational users in the ongoing debates affecting Scotland's mountain and coastal areas.
