Aims: To halt the loss of wild plant diversity. Plantlife International works for a world in which the riches of our wild plant inheritance are not diminished by human activity or indifference but are recognised, cherished and enhanced.

Current work priorities: In Scotland: Policy - conservation of biodiversity at an appropriate scale, impacts of non native invasive plants, sustainable use of plant products. Plant conservation - Plantlife's Back from the Brink programme works to conserve 59 species of plants, fungi, mosses, liverworts and algae in Scotland in their natural habitat through survey, research, provision of advice and managment. Volunteer and community involvement - we run a number of activities at different levels to enable people to get involved in plant conservation.
