Aims: The creation of National Parks in Scotland with adequate powers and finance, managed on behalf of the Nation by Boards comprising local authority members, local people and representatives of the national interest.

Current work priorities: promoting the case for further National Parks, whether marine, coastal or land-based, being a 'critical friend' to the first two, and protecting sensitive landscapes and habitats from undesirable developments.
