Current work priorities: In policy and campaigns terms, prioroties are

  • Ecosystems - working in all areas of policy to support an ecosystem approach to nature conservation in Scotland
  • Planning - influencing the planning system and forthcoming planning legislation in favour of biodiverstiy
  • Local sites - developing and encouraging the use of Local Sites systems as a means of protecting and enhancing biodiversity
  • Biodiversity - improving the delivery of biodiversity action through influencing national and local processes and funding
  • Marine - advocating the use of marine protected areas as part of a wider legislative framework for the management of Scotland's marine environment, campaigning for a Scottish Marine Bill
  • Invasive non native species - cmpaigning to control problem species for the benefit of native wildlife
