Learning for our Future:
The United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development 2004 – 2014 puts a time frame on the challenge for education systems across the world to adapt to sustainable development. Scotland has responded well. We have a comprehensive plan, Learning For Our Future, to meet the United Nation’s call for action. For example, over 95% of our primary schools are involved with Eco Schools, but much more has to be done with secondary schools.
