Celebrating our natural and cultural heritage

The opening event for the Scottish Environment Week – this session was chaired by Alex Johnstone MSP. MSPs, researchers and others enjoyed lunch and two inspiring presentations from Magnus Magnusson KBE and Peter Burman from The National Trust for Scotland. Wonderful views from the venue into Holyrood Park reminded participants of our valued natural and cultural heritage.

Our environment, who cares?

On the day that the Land Reform legislation on access rights became live, a group of MSPs, researchers and a range of organisations gathered to discuss how much the environment matters to everyone and some of the exciting environmental initiatives that are going on across Scotland. This event was chaired by Lib Dem MSP, Nora Radcliffe.
