Tourism is Scotland’s biggest industry, with the Scottish countryside bringing in £3.6 billion in revenue annually.  Wildlife tourism is growing globally, with Scotland’s diverse habitats and species making it one of the prime destinations in Europe.  The evening at the Botanic Gardens will be a celebration of the rich natural and historic heritage we have, but will also consider the impact tourism makes upon this valuable resource and how we take responsibility for managing this in a sustainable manner.

Following an interval with wine and a buffet provided, there will be a chance for you to debate the issues raised by the speakers.

WHEN:  1st February 7:30pm – 10pm

WHERE: Royal Botanic Garden, Edinburgh

TICKETS: £5 or 2 for 1

DIRECTIONS: The venue is on Inverleith Row, opposite Warriston Drive. Look out for the flag poles above the doorway.
