Seafloor Integrity Report – Executive Summary

Commissioned by Scottish Environment LINK’s Marine Group, this report explores the concept of seafloor integrity (based on the Marine Strategy Framework Directive’s Descriptor 6) and seeks to understand whether current conservation measures, such as marine protected areas, will be sufficient to recover Scotland’s depleted seabed and meet targets set under EU and domestic law.
