Roger Crofts

Roger has spent a long and distinguished career within the public sector as a research worker, as a Government adviser and administrator, and as the founder CEO of Scottish Natural Heritage. He is now an environmental strategy and policy adviser, charity volunteer, writer, speaker and campaigner on the environment working in Scotland, Iceland and internationally Roger brings significant experience and knowledge from across his career, including from IUCN UK Committee, IUCN World Commission on Protected Areas, different LINK member body boards and through his work at the Royal Society of Edinburgh and the Royal Scottish Geographical Society. His contribution has been recognised through a number of awards, fellowships and honorary professorships.
