Susan Davies is an experienced leader in Scotland’s environment and land-use sector. She currently Chairs the Board of the James Hutton Institute and was the Chief Executive of the Scottish Seabird Centre, between 2019 and 2026, where she focused on strengthening science engagement, conservation partnerships and people’s connection to seabirds and the marine environment. Throughout her 35-year career, both in the public and third sector, she has worked at the intersection of evidence, policy and practice, championing nature-positive land use for societal benefits.
