We are seeking an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Officer for an exciting, ambitious new project, “Nature for All.” Within the life of the project, we will be supporting LINK members to build the representation and engagement of under-represented sections of the community into the environment sector to bring about systemic changeLINK is the forum for 44 Scottish environmental NGOs, who work together to connect and restore Scotland’s environment and builds its resilience for today and future generations. This key post will co-ordinate and provide specialist support and training to our members on pathways to inclusion. 

Experienced in this field of work and ideally with experience in advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives within a complex network structure, this role suits an all-rounder with highly developed project management, administration and training skills, high emotional intelligence & empathy and able to navigate sensitive issues. As part of LINK’s staff team, you will be working with LINK members and their representatives, external community groups and other stakeholders to develop and deliver our EDI priorities.  As the key person for the project, you will be self-motivated, manage the daily co-ordination of work, with a record of success in facilitating forums and workshops and delivering training. Some travel, as well as some evening and weekend work, may be required. LINK values diversity and aspires to reflect this in our team. We can offer you: a 3-year fixed term contract for 21 hours a week, subject to a six-month probation, at a competitive salary of between £27,000 – £30,000, pro rata; employer pension contributions of 8%; 25 days’ annual leave and 10 public holidays per annum, pro rata; negotiable working hours and days; hybrid hours, office, and home working.
