This letter from the Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs, Land Reform and Islands follows the 18 April statement from the Cabinet Secretary for Wellbeing Economy, Net Zero and Energy on new measures to accelerate Scotland’s journey to net zero and her announcement that the Scottish Government cannot meet the 2030 climate targets. This letter confirms the announced actions on peatland restoration, deer management and RLUPs.
