This letter to Iain Stewart MP, Under Secretary of State for Scotland, is the result of a question raised with him on furlough and other UK government measures of support during the Covid-19 pandemic. This letter is the further information he requested and is drawn from email responses from member CEOs. The issues raised relate to the remits of both the UK government and the Scottish government and is thus copied to Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Cabinet Secretary for Economy, Fair Work and Culture in the interests of transparency.
