Whether you’re new to advocacy or looking to refresh your skills, this session offers a practical introduction to engaging effectively with the Scottish Parliament and Government. We’ll cover the basics of parliamentary processes, how committees operate, and how to build relationships with key MSPs, Ministers, and Cabinet Secretaries – particularly in the context of the forthcoming election.

Following the presentation, take part in an interactive Q&A with LINK members working in policy and public affairs, all of whom have previous experience within the Scottish Government and Parliament. They’ll share practical insights and advice to help make your advocacy more effective.
