We are looking for up to 3 new Trustees who love nature and the environment as much as we do.
This is an opportunity for those who are keen to share their knowledge or lived experiences, and develop or apply your leadership, strategic and governance skills. You will also be passionate about making a real impact in conserving and improving the state of nature in the UK, as well as advocating for more action to protect natural habitats.
The Trustees will play an active and direct role in guiding the charity, supporting the CEO and teams. And, whenever possible, inspiring members of the public to support Plantlife.
You don’t need previous Trustee experience but do need enthusiasm and interest in our work. We are looking for applicants who are willing to champion wild plants, fungi and the environment. We welcome all applications, but are particularly keen to hear from under-represented groups and younger applicants (typically between the ages of 18-30). We recognise that our Board is not as diverse as we would like it to be and recognise that a wide a range of voices and ages is essential in decision-making for wild-plants and fungi.
