Green Jobs and Skills Group

An informal information exchange between NatureScot and LINK, to encourage partnership working and the sharing of resources and knowledge to address the skills and capacity crisis and make the profession more visible, accessible, and diverse.

Please read this collaborative blog from the group that covers some of the areas of interest that we cover:

Green Jobs for Nature: is there a typical career path?

This group was made to encourage partnership working and the sharing of resources and knowledge in this space.

The group meets quarterly for one-hour meetings. One meeting per year will be a longer 1 hour and 30-minute meeting with invited external speakers to present their activity to specific meetings.

All members are committed to attending meetings and/or revising documents. We are an inclusive group and recognise that participation and contribution can be through verbalising thoughts in meetings or writing thoughts on revised documents/chain emails.

The group would very much welcome involvement from other LINK members so if you are interested in being involved or just want to find out more, please email annierobinson@cieem.net.
